The correct indefinite plural is stormenn, but I can't be sure that it's an old form. Entered by Meco in 2008. DonnanZ (talk) 20:00, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- What about this hits on Google Books? (should this be an RFV?) DTLHS (talk) 20:44, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, most of those hits go back 50 years or more, so I guess it must be a form that's no longer in use. I pinged Njardarlogar, so I'll see what he has to say, it may take a day or two. With hindsight it should be an RFV, but maybe it can be resolved here. DonnanZ (talk) 23:48, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- This used to be a standard way (I would guess the sole way, originally) to inflect stormann in Landsmål/Nynorsk, but it is currently non-standard. --Njardarlogar (talk) 08:03, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'm satisfied with that, now struck (RFD notice removed by Njardarlogar). DonnanZ (talk) 09:35, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
