Not the photographic sense 1, but the generic sense 2, "something that boosts speed". Wouldn't this be two words? Equinox 22:36, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I added some citations, which should suffice. It seems that the word is used as an alternative form for the more standard speed booster which would be SOP on its own. It is not common (I dug for a while and these are literally the only four citations I could find, at all), so I added the rare label. The 2005 citation is being generous, assuming that the writer didn't know that Speedbooster was, at the time at least, apparently a product sold for wireless routers, and was as such a proper noun and not a common noun as the writer seems to have assumed.
