It says the English word was corrupted after Plato? Plato was WAY before the English language. The word Sophism has not changed definition. Sophists and sophistry are not the same word. RyanDanielsT

Rfv-sense: A method of teaching using the techniques of philosophy and rhetoric.

This countably defined sense is not in dictionaries. Our other three senses (the last one just added by me) are covered by dictionaries.

Added in 2014 in diff, which was suspect by marking the main dictionary-supported senses as slang. Another suspect one is diff. Looks very opinionated and fact-free, but let us see. --Dan Polansky (talk) 15:20, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
