@Ysrael214 Do you have access to Masinop na Pagsulat, if it explains why KWF decided to have "zoolohiya" instead of "soolohiya", while they have "sarsuwela" (not zarzuwela), "sakate" (not zacate), "sapatos" (not zapatos), "soro" (not zoro). Anyway, including words like soolohiko and soologo present in Tagalog dictionaries but not in KWF sources would make it inconsistent with the usage of Z in "soolohiya", so it makes sense for this to be another exception to our general principle of following KWF orthography, unless there's a principle that I've missed. @Mar vin kaiser Doesn't really explain, but maybe because it's a scientific thing that zoo would instantly be recognizable? I'm using the pizza analogy in MMP so that pitsa won't be recognized as some dama piece. Then again, the "-hiya" part was changed. Ysrael214 (talk) 06:07, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
