Missing glyph

[edit]

The missing glyph refernced is a determinative depicting a plain skiff - i.e.

P4

but without the lower plate and the net. It would appear to be a glyph in its own right, and not an idiosyncratic variation on the above, but I can't find it in Gardiner. --Hyarmendacil (talk) 01:49, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The hieroglyph in question is P106 in the extended version of Gardiner’s sign list used by JSesh; it seems to be a variant of
P13
(P13) in this case, going by the Wörterbuch. Is the variant without the determinant (
smH
) that we’re using as the headword attested anywhere? It’s not listed in the Wörterbuch or any of the other Egyptian dictionaries I’ve checked; all of them have a boat determinant of some kind at the end. Vorziblix (talk) 18:11, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
