Add topic'Diu' in 'Siam diu' does not come from the Cantonese 吊. It would be weird to have both Hokkien and Cantonese word in a single term. 'Diu' comes from the Hokkien word for 场 （https://zh.forvo.com/word/%E5%9C%BA/#nan） meaning a place or venue, in this case, a club.
