Link etymologies?
[edit]English etys 1 and 2 must be linked, right? It currently suggests that ety 2 was made up out of nowhere by one guy. Equinox ◑ 07:02, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
- It would help if the definitions used more common defining terms, even at the expense of length. The definition in the second etymology section seems like an extension of the meaning to include a ground meat preparation (like gyros) instead of chunks of the meat. It seems on all fours with calling spam ham.
- It hardly seems like a separate etymology or even worth including as part of the overall etymology. DCDuring (talk) 08:50, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
