i think that shallow means a person that is stuck up

Not quite. It means emotionally shallow, insincere, superficial, unable to understand others’ needs and feelings. Someone who is shallow in concerned with outward appearance...good looks, nice clothes, fast car...and is not interested in anyone whose beauty is only on the inside. But shallow people are not usually stuck up, since being stuck up requires a certain depth of character. —Stephen 22:19, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
