- @Barytonesis Here are some examples: Richardus Tertius 1579 serviens ad arma is listed in dramatis personae, and in Tractatus villae et castri de Brest 1396 it is mentioned various times (page 677-8). This is but the first line of the page: "Rex dilecto sibi, Johanni Drax, servienti suo ad arma, salutem". "The king to his dear John Drax, his sergeant at arms, hail".—Aearthrise
