Chambers 1908 defines it as "pertaining to a quadrilateral having four equal sides, but only pairs of equal angles". I suppose that's another way of stating our existing geometry sense? Equinox 00:44, 13 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Apparently not. Our existing sense is about (3D) polyhedra and (2D) tessellations. The Chambers one is specific to (2D) quadrilaterals. And the other specifications don't match either: in particular, uniform (in our definition) requires all angles equal. The Chambers definition seems to correspond to a rhombus, though differently specified. There's a niggling doubt about whether the equal angles are opposite or adjacent, but the latter case seems to lead to a rectangle (a square, given equal sides), unless the geometry is non-Euclidean.— Pingkudimmi 05:52, 13 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
