Portuguese. Does the word seismologia (meaning seismology) really exist in Portuguese? I've searched for it in a few online dictionaries and in the Portuguese Wikipedia article about it, and I don't think that's the right word. The only form I found (and know) is sismologia, cf. sismo and sísmico. OweOwnAwe (talk) 15:18, 12 July 2023 (UTC)

Equinox asked if this Spanish word was fake in a Tea Room discussion in March of 2023. I applied the RFV, but never made a post here. So, I figured I might as well get to the bottom of this. I did not find any good results on GB, but I did find something on the Web, a blog post on "AllThingsHair" written in American Spanish. Here's a copy of the sentence where this word is used: "Los rizos lucirán como los tentáculos de la octopoda." (I believe this translates something like: "Your curls will be looking like an octopus's tentacles.)
