In dictionaries it definitely does [1]. Not sure about usage as in use-mention distinction as I don't understand enough Dutch. Oh and should be at WT:RFV#schrinken. Renard Migrant (talk) 12:32, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

The 2003 and 2009 citations aren't durably archived, which leaves us with one citation per sense. @CodeCat is this a word you're familiar with / can you find citations of it? - -sche (discuss) 07:26, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm not familiar with it, but it's clearly a retention of an older word that has lingered on in very limited use. Recent uses may be revivals based on English. —CodeCat 20:57, 24 October 2015 (UTC)

I've removed this sense which had only one citation:

1. (archaic) to take down

   (1539) Wanneer dijn toorne de sondaren wil schrincken. [3]

   When thy wrath wishes to take down the sinners.

The other sense seems attestable. Passed per comments above (I've added one more citation). The participle geschronken is also well-attested (e.g. "geschronken hoofden in de Amazone"). - -sche (discuss) 17:20, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
