Confusing signals about Spanish pronunciation

[edit]

The article shows in writing that the pronunciation includes a [z]-sound, whereas the audio recording does not play any [z]-sound.

The audio recording is indicated "(Colombia)". It would be helpful if someone knowledgeable could indicate for what countries and regions the written indication is accurate. That would help prevent readers wondering why the audio recording does not correspond to the IPA-registration.Redav (talk) 23:46, 8 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I don't think we should base anything on one sound file. For one thing, I don't hear anything at all between the "e" and the "g"- I could easily mistake this for a recording of English re-echo spoken by someone with a Spanish accent.
