2nd Etymology

[edit]

I feel the second etymology presented here is somewhat redundant. As I understand the work presented, it is not claiming a new defination for the word 'retection', as the word still implies the detection of something concealed. While it is an interesting serendipity I do not think it is sufficently noteworthy to include. I'd appreciate any thoughts on this matter, otherwise I intend to remove it.
