To my untrained ears, it seems like there is more of a difference between UK and US pronunciation than just the last syllable. For the most part, I agree with the IPA for the US pronunciation, but am not familiar enough with UK accents to say for sure whether the UK IPA is right or wrong. -- A-cai 12:13, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- The Cambridge Pronouncing Dictionary gives only the final syllable with different symbols, though for the UK they also give the syllable break after the "r" and deemphasize the preceding schwa. --EncycloPetey 13:24, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
