I think I solved the puzzle. :-) The contributor said "rame is past of ramed, to oar". The confusion seems to stem from the fact that rame is French for the English noun oar, causing some wires to cross. ramed should probably just move to rfd. Rod (A. Smith) 02:22, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
