Hello, in french

[edit]

having had our parades quite often rained upon( & indeed by our would-be friends, as recently proven by Fachoda, Mers-el-Kebir, Common Market issues etc...) , we get a lot of colloquial equivalents for it :

-"flanquer une douche froide" ("to throw a cold shower upon s.one")

-"pisser dans les bottes" ("to piss into someone's boots")

-"casser les pattes" ("to break s.one's legs")

-"foutre en l'air" ("to blow away")

-"faire éclater la bulle" (" to blow away s.one's bubble")

-"casser le coup" ("to make s.one's hit miss")

-"faire débander" ( to make s.one's hard-on disappear")

- etc... T.y. Arapaima 08:46, 27 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
