Definition

We had this (which I wrote, but I don't recall now where I found it out!): "A branch of primitive medicine that attempts to explain biological causes and effects by means of basic psychology." The word seems rare. I have added two citations; one might meet the definition quoted, but the other doesn't seem to. I've changed it to rfdef, requesting a definition.
