Missing senses?
[edit]Chambers 1908 also has these three: "v.t. to render useless or invalid through lapse of time. v.i. to claim on account of long possession; to become of no force through time." Equinox ◑ 09:48, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- Second one falls within the law sense I've just added, first and third look a bit difficult to attest in verb form. —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 20:45, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
prescribed-against
[edit]Is prescribed-against grammatically right? --Backinstadiums (talk) 15:20, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
- Er, it's very strange. I've just changed it to "proscribed" (note the o) which is the usual term for this. Equinox ◑ 20:47, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
