Add topicI saw a documentary on the Krays where a gangster said they saw Ronnie Kray heating a chef’s steel till it glowed red and threatening to blind someone with it. Apparently Ronnie decided merely to burn his eyebrows off instead. The cockney gangster made a point of saying something like: “We didn’t call them steels, they was pokers back then”.
