Why remove "pure white" from the description of the petals? Apparently this is a distinguishing feature of the variety. Equinox 19:12, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure if that is the case – I'm not sure if the 2015 quotation means to say that all poculiforms are white, or only Galanthus elwesii. For example, the 2013 quotation doesn't mention anything about the colour of the flower. Please feel free to reinsert the words if you can establish this fact. Did a Google search and found that while poculiform snowdrops are largely white, they are not necessarily pure white. There are varieties that have green tips or other green markings on them: see [1] and [2], for example. Smuconlaw (talk) 08:53, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
