With the note, I find it confusing whether

@Dunedune: The label “(sometimes proscribed)” is next to the sense “A casual, courteous remark”, which matches the usage note (“use[] to mean only polite conversation in general [] is sometimes proscribed”. J3133 (talk) 10:51, 22 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
