Talk:pilves

The definition is so long because you can't say it in any shorter way. For instance, you can't define pilves only as a shaded place. A shaded place can also be in a shade of a house, but that's not pilves. A pilves can't be located indoors. My mother uses the word regularly when gardening, so I am familar with it, too. It is a bit rural term. If you haven't heard it in use, don't touch the definition!

There is also another meaning for the word in Nyky-suomen sanakirja (a huge, rather dated Finnish dictionary). I didn't add it because I have never heard it in use. -82.215.230.154 16:10, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
