@SemperBlotto Do you have any sources for this? Searching for "piaciono" I only find explanations indicating a misspelling. And even if it is valid we should indicate that it is an uncommon variant. – Jberkel 22:09, 25 March 2018 (UTC)

Google ngram search (lang=Italian) shows very many uses, especially in the 19th century. I'll make it an alternative spelling. SemperBlotto (talk) 06:29, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

If you contrast it with piacciono you'll see that even in the 19th century it was a rare form, with at least an order of magnitude difference in usage. – Jberkel 08:15, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
