Add topicThis pronunciation looks very unlikely and cumbersome to me. There are way too many stressed vowels to feel right to an English speaker.
/peregraIn/ should be /per@gri:n/ or /per@grIn/ or maybe /per@gr@n/
/f{lkQn/ should be /f{lk@n/ or maybe /fA:lk@n/

- I agree. (Though I've only ever heard /fA:lk@n/ in Star Wars, I suppose it'd be the commoner form outside the US.) —Muke Tever 15:41, 17 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- /fA:lk@n/ sounds foreign to me but I've heard it on TV/movies. /f{lk@n/ is the only way anybody says it in Australia and it's also the name of one of the top-selling cars since 1960 so it's widely used and standardised.
- On romanizations, at least Serbian and Belarusian actually are also written in the latin script as well. Serbain is official in both scripts, Belarusian is offically Cyrillic but there's a widely-known latin form known as "Lacinka" (not sure about the spelling). Russian definitely doesn't have a standard romanization so they shouldn't be linked, but I'm not sure about Bulgarian or Ukrainian so I haven't been interfering with them. — Hippietrail 16:40, 17 Apr 2004 (UTC)
