I don't think the definition for paralogue is quite correct (unless it's one which I've not encountered). Surely paralogues are genes related by a duplication event in an ancestor, and are no longer necessarily on the same genome. (Deletion events in some descendants can even leave the situation looking like orthology. I realise that this isn't wikipedia, but the definition in its current state seems to be actually incorrect.
