Noun or adjective
[edit]For me, as a non English speaker, pandemic sounds like an adjective instead of like a noun. Interestingly enough, the sample sentence in the main page of pandemic uses pandemic as an adjective under the noun heading: "A pandemic disease". I would expect the correct noun to be "pandemy", but I know by now that this apparently is not the case. The word pandemy is not mentioned on this page at all, but it does exist according the Free Dictionary. Would it be useful to add some clarification regarding this topic to the entry of "pandemic"?
