It's certainly overrepresented in dictionaries, but there are also plenty of uses, e.g. [1][2][3][4][5][6]. —RuakhTALK 02:29, 3 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've cited the "act of eating" sense, which is also the sense found in dictionaries. I found only one intelligible cite where it seemed to mean "food", and then only figuratively; so we should probably RFV fail that sense. (We can move its cite up into the "act of eating" sense without too much harm, I think.) —RuakhTALK 15:39, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
