"(graphical user interface) A button on a screen used to select an action (often menu option)." I think this is redundant to sense 1, "one of a set of choices that can be made". It's certainly not just menus that can offer options: they might be hyperlinks, dropdown list entries, etc. (Note this is all unrelated to the option button, which is one specific type of on-screen element.)   • Delete. Not a separate sense. The current translations, apart from Hungarian lehetőség (which should move to sense #1), are all wrong. The definition is also pretty awful; in most cases the graphical element representing an option would not be called a “button”, and the options may be preferences (like the date format) rather than actions.  --Lambiam 09:35, 5 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
