"Alternative to oh boy" — surjection?13:53, 24 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Almost everything I find is simply addressing a girl, but I did manage to find and add one cite (on citations page). Kiwima (talk) 18:23, 24 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Needs usage notes or marking as non-standard etc. The current entry would appear to suggest that this is just as common as "oh boy" which it evidently is not. Using this phrase would perhaps be trying to make a gendered point, similar to how people with non-monotheistic religious beliefs sometimes self-consciously use "oh gods" instead of "oh god". I have managed to find two more cites that are not addressing a girl. Perhaps we could merge the two definitions and add a usage note. Kiwima (talk) 04:55, 9 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
