Apparently an adjective, defined poorly as "When the engines are removed from the aircraft." Darren X. Thorsson (talk) 12:42, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- I think “offwing” is a very rare variant of “off-wing”; I am inclined to call it a misspelling. A procedure applied to an engine is only said to be “off-wing” if the normal use of the engine is while mounted on the wing of an aircraft. There are different requirements and procedures for on-wing and off-wing engine testing and maintenance. --Lambiam 23:09, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
