Talk:offensive

Need to note somehow that "the offensive" is always used with "the". What's the technical term? It's not just uncountable. -dmh 04:18, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Offencive?

Has anyone else ever heard the use of 'offencive'? My British English spellchecker is throwing it up as a suggestion for 'offensive', but I've never heard it used... Odd bloke 02:16, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

IMO same as #2 "relating to an offense or attack". This is usually more of a military sense. Equinox ◑ 17:01, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
