Transitive use

This is transitive use of the verb, where it's signified as intransitive.

- That looks to me to be thoroughly unidiomatic. Surely that would be, "We are in the process of making this product obsolete" ? 89.243.245.105 19:46, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- No, it's definitely in use. I don't like it either, but it's there.

- Thanks. Absolutely in use, though it is more helpful to use sources we can use for "attestation" rather than just general web search. Google Books, News, Scholar, and Usenet are the best. DCDuring TALK 01:43, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
