What's the difference between the words "nude" and "unclad"?

For if there is no difference then having both words in the same definition is being redundant which is a critical mistake in creating definitions. Brevity is a critical part of a definition. Every word must in a definition must be critical to the understanding of the word being defined. Words that don't meet that criteria must be removed.

To respond to above: Wiktionary is keyed by words, not by meanings: two synonyms having different entries is completely acceptable. For instance, they have different pronunciations and etymologies.

I don't know the policy or consensus on (more or less) exact synonyms.
