drink

[edit]

I believe a nip is also a small drink or serving of liquor or spirits. I'm not sure how it compares or relates to a shot. — Hippietrail 09:25, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)

nip and Nip

[edit]

I have cleaned up the entry according to the Wiktionary format, and added extensively to boot. Because of its many forms and definitions, the word nip/Nip will probably always have a somewhat confusing entry on Wiktionary -- unless a case-sensitive distinction can be made in searches; which poses its own problems of complication. catnip

[edit]

Might just be in humorous cat memes, but I've seen nip and/or 'nip used to mean catnip. Perhaps not attested in a durably archived way. Whatever that means. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:48, 1 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
