You just got "pwned" if you got called a "newb" or "noob" and it sometimes is used as just a common name for people even if you are the most experienced at something, people still tell you that you are a "newb" or "noob"

This is short for "newbie" so it's pronounced the same way. We have both forms for "newb" too. Equinox ◑ 22:40, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
