Talk:necromancy

While this page is correct in it's meaning, it is more often used as the summoning of the dead to do bidding, not for divination. I can name a quite a large number of cases of this. though I suppose it may be called incorrect usage however.....

in fact, many of the -mancy pages have "controlling of ___" as synmoms, so I feel that it should be added, but I want the approval of others before I do. Jabberwock xeno 23:59, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

It's used heavily in that way in Dungeons & Dragons, and note that derived word thread necromancy uses it in that way.--Prosfilaes 19:52, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
