- It's a common collocation, but does it rise to being an idiom? Not every metaphor need be in a dictionary. Can you find a quote in a book or newspaper (or similar source) that shows it in use outside of horse racing? DCDuring (talk) 13:16, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
