"(South India) Eye dialect spelling of nonsense." This doesn't seem common at all. It's sometimes a pun relating to the Indian food called naan bread. Equinox ◑ 13:13, 10 October 2023 (UTC)

Also the other sense (nonsense in the context of naan bread): the three citations are tweets. Those do not meet WT:CFI, do they? Equinox ◑ 06:57, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- To the extent that I have kept an eye on it, the recent practice has generally been to provide a larger number of tweets than the usual three citations (let's say six or eight) and support these by evidence from at least one other platform - Reddit if it has to be.
- Having said that, we really don't lose anything by deleting that sense. There is potential stuff on Usenet, but I can't really be bothered. Lots of chains of silly puns; "naan-sense and pun-eer" as one poster puts it. This, that and the other (talk) 10:50, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
Ety 2 was removed by Word0151, so this is RFV-failed for ety 2 but RFV-passed for ety 1 (the originally nominated sense). This, that and the other (talk) 01:35, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
