náshdóí

[edit]

Does náshdóí have a meaning apart from tsoh? 71.66.97.228 07:35, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, wildcat. —Stephen (Talk) 08:16, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, not any specific type of wild big cat such as cougar, puma, panther, lynx, etc., but only the generic wildcat? I'm just trying to see if this had an original meaning for an animal native to Navajoland before various other derived terms were devised for big cats from other areas of the world. 71.66.97.228 03:28, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just wildcat. Or lynx. —Stephen (Talk) 04:10, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
