From Webster 1913, where the first letter of the entry is always uppercased. This is just Translingual Mytilus. I found some lowercase uses in 19th-century geology texts [1] [2], evidently referring to ancient shells or fossils, but these texts put all genus names in lowercase and I don't think this means we should have entries for them.
