A large car that is used as a van

Yeah, cars (as commonly understood) do not have multiple rows of individual seating accessed by sliding doors. Those are just small vans or... minivans.

I guess the idea is to somehow distinguish smaller utility vans from passenger-focused ones... but those are both simply vans under our current definitions and under most of humanity's processing of the English language. Separating the senses, if it happens, needs to be done more carefully and with appropriate corrections to our definitions at car and van to have them match. — LlywelynII 10:35, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
