No evidence indeed. The word is recent and in limited enough use that it has not featured in any literature. I simply assumed the etymology due to a) the similarity between the two words in both semantics and phonetics (plus the comedic value provided by this) and b) the origin of the word, that being, a joke on 4chan, where comedy is known to be highly derivative.
