[edit]

Is it mel-oh-dik or meh-lod-ik? I've heard both. (or are both correct?) Wōdenhelm 21:28, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Presumably if you've heard both, both are correct. Never let a dictionary tell you how to speak your native language! Mglovesfun (talk) 21:55, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I've never heard the stress on the first syllable. The differences I hear are mostly on the second syllable. In the US it is usually "la". I have heard "low", too. I haven't found any source suggesting stress on the first syllable. DCDuring TALK 18:41, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'll just assume it's unique to my dialect then. Wōdenhelm 08:48, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
