does it really mean masturbate?

this would be near-impossible to cite through traditional means, so i'll just leave the question open .... it seems this would be more productive as a dysphemism for political debates ... "oh, you're just mass-debating on social media again", and the like. Versus taking the definition at face value, one would say something like "i was mass-debating to that video i downloaded last night", which is funny maybe ...once... and then it gets old. Ive been reluctant to start RFV's lately since there's a big enough backlog already, but Ive done some searching and I think this, like master bait ~master baiter, this is actually used literally, sometimes with a bit of wit, but is rarely used to mean masturbate. And to be honest, I think some people using this phrase aren't even being witty, either .... perhaps it's just not taboo enough. —Soap— 12:48, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
