Uncommon sense question, I guess.

[edit]

I've come across, strictly in informal speech (specifically Clarkson's Top Gear), a sense of "lunched" somehow meaning "destroyed" - specifically referring to an automobile engine. What would I need to do to prove this as a usage? Ellenor2000 (talk) 15:16, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Minnesota?

[edit]

Sentences like "After the funeral there was a lunch" are not limited to Minnesota. That's a strange qualification. 46.253.189.41 18:25, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
