lowlily

[edit]

Is lowlily a synonym of the adverb lowly? --Backinstadiums (talk) 09:29, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Adverb form is archaic

[edit]

I don't think there's any contemporary (and correct) use of lowly as an adverb. All the examples found on Google seem to be archaic. There are sites saying lowly is never an adverb, although they seem to be talking about contemporary use. Should that be noted in the definition?
