My lady Gail claims that “loose as a goose” refers to the propensity of geese to want to copulate. I, however, believe that it refers to their propensity to poop profusely, and adamantly, anywhere they please. Comments 2600:387:16:131:0:0:0:7 02:43, 28 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
