Questionable etymology and removal suggested

This word has two problems. First, it is not cohesive to the modern Chinese Pinyin system. When Chinese words became loanwords, they're romanized based on pinyin. For example, doufu, Gongfu, wuxia, etc. But this word exclusively adopted a different approach to spell, from long to loong. Second, I could not find any reliable citation of this word in Chinese-English dicts, which means the popularity among Chinese natives is questionable. That's why we don't have a solid citation for this word. Still, I saw several articles written by Chinese, prompting this word, but that's not enough. could it be ... a pun? because, i mean ... they're pretty loooooooong compared to the European dragons, after all. It might explain why this word isnt really considered academic. But that makes me wonder if long, besides the six definitions it already has, could use a seventh indicating the proper spelling for the dragon word. Thanks, —Soap— 21:21, 15 August 2024 (UTC)

Well, it's used in the name of a company: Loong Air. Their logo clearly refers to the dragon. I'd say that if a company uses it, it's likely widespread. —Soap— 21:38, 15 August 2024 (UTC)

no tim to type up proper cites but its clearly in widespread use, even if it only took off (LOL!!!!!!) recently. here is one more use which by its nature indicates widespread use elsewhere. —Soap— 21:41, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
