RFV-sense "(philosophy) Among the Sophists, the topics of rational argument." The sense is not present in other dictionaries and I am not sure it was even intended to apply to the English word logos — I think it may have just been a comment on how the Ancient Greek word was used. The citations turned up by google books:logos Sophists "rational argument" suggest this is the case — in them, the word occurs in italics and/or quotation marks or parentheses, and in phrases that suggest it is being mentioned rather than being used. - -sche (discuss) 04:24, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
